Thoughts On Black & White

Hello everyone! It's been a bit since Black & White came out in English, so for everyone who's filling up their Unova Pokédex, how about a post to share your thoughts?

Which version of the game did you get? What do you think of the Unova region and its Pokémon? Were there things in particular that you liked or disliked? Did you like Bianca and Cheren?

I went with Pokemon Black and Oshawott (though I'm regretting not getting Snivy because his little foot stamp during battle is adorable). I'm still sad that they had a Fire Pig. I miss bad ass fire starters (CYNDAQUIL ILUVYOU) The region is pretty nifty, I like the style and the different layers of height they have going. I think my favorite new pokemon, so far, is the Electric Pony! I *love* Blitzle SO MUCH. Herdier's pretty cute too and a little badass tank.

I really love the storyline and the general idea of a group against the training and capture of pokemon and I am highly amused by the fact that they are going about it ALL WRONG. Like, when they started kicking Munna I was all o.O "you're doing it wrong" cause well, kicking pokemon you're trying to release from captivity? A little counter-productive. N is interesting and I'm really intrigued to see how his story works out.

The fact that you have two "rivals" is pretty cool and Bianca is sweet. I mostly wanna give her a pat on the head and say good job, you keep on keeping on.

I'm with you on the storyline. I was worried I wouldn't like it, but it's turning out much better than I thought it would.
