Glacidia Forums- the place for fanworks

Lately with all the release 88 troubles and fan artists/writers moving all places to Dreamwidth/Tumblr/what have you, I decided it'd be as good a time as any to advertise the website I run with nandosagi   as another place to find community with fellow creators. 

I'm an admin over at Glacidia Forums, a forum focused on fanworks. I've run it for about two years with Nando now in its present state and though we've had sporadic activity, lately we've felt we could really step it up a bit reaching out to the fanworks community and doing more to become known.

Why should you join/post there?

Because we created the forums with a new concept in mind. A Pokemon fanworks forum that focuses on the user, not the staff, and that allows for freedom of expression with full freedom of expression, encourages reviewing, and spotlights works on our WordPress blog for fanworks. Fanfiction, fanart, roleplay, whatever you like, it's welcome here. We also have an IRC chat (#glacidia on systemnet) that's also usually fairly active full of friendly users.

We have other subforums for other interests, from gaming to entertainment to beyond, but the heart of it is the fans. The owners of Glacidia- Nando and myself- are both active in the Pokemon fanworks community, under various names, and most of our staffers are as well. The moderation team does its best to respond to any concerns any user might have in a fair and prompt manner.

We also are in the process of planning a future video game wi-fi tournament, with the DVD for movie 14 and a Nobunaga event Rayquaza as first prize. There's a small thread up if you have any suggestions for rules, so check it out.
