If you've got that problem with the Isle of Armor expansion where the updated Pokédex won't register Pokémon you've brought over via Home, here's a workaround I accidentally found: Drop them off at the breeder's. Once you get them back, they'll register in your 'dex as if you just caught or evolved them. A nice, reasonably simple workaround for the ones you have to trade to evolve, IMO.

(Note: I haven't tried this to see what happens without successfully getting an egg first. Most of them were from lines I needed the first stage of anyway.)
