Looks like Chargestone Cave or Mistralton Cave are your closest options for Boldore (though the latter is only accessible by Surf - I don't remember if the game gives you that HM by this gym or not). IIRC, you can't get to Twist Mountain until you beat Skyla, which is the next place along your route to get a Boldore.
