Dragon team

I want to creat a team called 'Dragon fusion'. I know, probably a really cheesy name. Basically, it will be three dragon pokemon with three other non-dragons. But the only problem is, what pokemon go good with dragon pokemon besides Charizard? D: I have an action replay so i can get any pokemon if needed. XD I'm not a cheater. I don't do that kind of thing. I'm not a hard core rare candy user so I only use the infinite pp, the max money, 100% catch rate... yeah.

Moving on...

Any suggestions? This is going to be for Pokemon White. Probably my Dragon pokemon will include:

Flygon (My favorite pokemon lol don't judge me. =.=)
Salamence
Dragonite

Any suggestions for non-dragon pokemon that would go with a dragon team BESIDES charizard? I was thinking an ice pokemon and an electric pokemon, since Charizard would produce fire.

Or if you have other suggestions, please say. ^^

If you're building the team in White, why aren't you including any of the Unova dragons? You could do the Tao trio (the version exclusives, plus Kyurem) and get a Fire, an Electric, and an Ice pokemon. If you'd prefer to use non-legendaries, there's Axew and its evolutions, Deino and its evolutions, or Druddigon.

I would think you'd want either Salamence or Dragonite, since they've got the same typing. (Also, with one of those and Flygon, you have two pkmn with a double weakness to Ice!)
Then you have Flygon for Dragon/Ground.
The Axew-Fraxure-Haxorus line or Druddigon would be your pure Dragon.
The Deino-Zweilous-Hydreigon line would be Dragon/Dark.
Kingdra is Dragon/Water.

Charizard is the "looks like a Dragon, why isn't it a Dragon?" type, but it doesn't resist Ice moves and most users of Ice moves also have Water moves, to which Charizard is weak.

A Steel type would be perfect, because Steel resists both Ice and Dragon; Magnezone, being Steel/Electric, would be my pick. (It has a double weakness to Ground, but Salamence or Dragonite would be completely immune to Ground, as would Flygon (Levitate), and if you've evolved Deino into Zweilous and then into Hydreigon it'll have Levitate as well.)
Edited (apparently Hydreigon has Levitate, and Flygon has no Dream World ability. Huh.) 2012-09-20 03:37 (UTC)

100% catch rate seems an awful lot cheatier than max money or free rare candy, honestly; money's rarely been a problem for me, the daycare can level for me if I'm sufficiently patient, but there are plenty of Pokemon that either show up very infrequently or have a really low catch rate or both*, and being able to just stuff one into any old Pokeball is a huge advantage.

That said, whether or not you do something I consider cheating doesn't affect my game in any way. If you want to use an action replay, go for it! Get yourself an all-shiny, 31-IV-across-the-board team and unapologetically stomp faces with it! Just don't expect anyone else not to think of it as cheaty :)

[*] E.g. Metang has a 10% chance of showing up in the Giant Chasm and a catch rate of "I hope you brought fifty Dusk Balls, are trying to catch it at night, and are ridiculously lucky." (It has the same catch rate as legendaries, except unlike legendaries you can't save right before fighting it - no other non-legendary has a catch rate close to that low.)

Neither have I, because Dragons tend to take so long to get their neat moves! I like Kingdra for its "surprise! it's a Dragon!" typing, so I had to suggest it...

Flygon, Dragonite, Haxorus, Kingdra, Chandelure (the evolution of Litwick, the candle), Magnezone would be an interesting team:

Chandelure would be unaffected by Normal, Fighting, and Fire (if it has Flash Fire instead of Flame Body)
Flygon would be unaffected by Electric and Ground.
Magnezone would be unaffected by Poison.
Dragonite would also be unaffected by Ground.
That's six immunities right there, and at least one member of that team would resist every other type!

And substituting Axew or Fraxure for Haxorus (who is a lot uglier than the rest of its line - I kinda regret evolving my Fraxure because I hate seeing Haxorus's back) wouldn't change the type effectiveness, and AFAIK Haxorus doesn't learn anything that its prior evolutions can't.

If I end up getting Black 2 or White 2, I'm trading a Litwick egg over early. They're so cute :3

Glade makes contraptions that turn an ordinary votive light into a scented candle, I think; I don't know a lot about them because air fresheners (literally) sicken me.

You could name one Yankee (for Yankee Candle), I suppose; for non-commercial-ish names there's Paschal for a male (for the Paschal candle in Christianity), or Lucia for a female (some countries celebrate St. Lucia's feastday by crowning a young girl with a wreath holding candles)...
