Favorite Gym Leader/E4 Trainer

In order to help stimulate DreamWidth, we need much more Pokemon discussion, no?

Anyway, I have an open-ended question for you all: Who is your favorite Gym Leader and/or E4 Trainer? Why do you like them? What is your favorite Pokemon that's on their team? etc. etc.

I've only played Blue and Yellow. I suppose my favorite is the KARATE MASTER of the Fighting Dojo (is that cheating?) because you get a Pokémon for defeating him, haha... or, well, if that's cheating, Sabrina in Yellow, because she's the only leader who has as her Pokémon one evolutionary line (Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam).

(My least favorite is Giovanni in Yellow, because Persian is annoying when it's not on my team. :p)
