Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver are out.

Has anyone got theirs yet? What do you think - is it as good as the original? The new features look nice.

Well, I'm in Europe so I still have to wait a week and a half before I can get my hands on it, but it looks good, and I'm interested to see what exactly can be done with the Pokéwalker... which I'm excited about mainly for nostalgia purposes, admittedly, because I had that Pikachu tamagotchi back in the day and want to walk around with my Pokémon in my pocket again. XD

got mine today as soon as game stop opened

they really did a good job with using the touch screen as much as possible; graphics better than even Platinum. It's super fun to be able to walk around with a Pokemon! (the first one in your party marches behind you, so so cute.) Pokewalker also lots of fun, although i walk a LOT for Work and so I got a lot of watts today.

... what am I saying, I have not been so excited as I was to see Silver, your rival, for any video game character since Riku showed his face in KH2.

I'm enjoying HG a lot. (I just got it about two hours ago and this is the first time I've put it down!) The graphics are stunning; I'm loving it immensely.

The Pokewalker is definitely unique. I'd like it more except the only Pokemon I have found is Sentret. xD

I just got SoulSilver and it's pretty nifty so far. The pokewalker is many kinds of a adorable as is the fact that a mini-pokemon follows you around (Being stalked by a fluffy Mareep is one of the cutest things ever).

I was iffy on the arty 3d look from diamond/pearl, but they integrated it well into the game and it actually looks pretty fantastic.

PLUS, there's d/l content of a special route for the pokewalker that lets you capture badass pikachus that have moves like Fly or Surf, so huzzah!
