OK this is very important!

Some idiot is circulating 'bad eggs' through the Wonder Trade feature. The article is right here. Just be very careful when trading ok? I would hate for some one here to get one of these eggs.

Don't panic! Almost-certainly just rumors :)

Don't panic! The original source of bad eggs was just one guy with a glitched game, and he's said that he couldn't trade them (whether via link trade, GTS, or Wonder Trade). The rumor that they started showing up via Wonder Trade only started going around once a couple hackers started being able to interpret the packets being sent between the 3DS and Nintendo's servers during a Wonder Trade, but they haven't seen any Bad Eggs.

The original guy to report getting Bad Eggs has also said that they don't multiply or delete anything else - they just sit there taking up space. Annoying, but not catastrophic.

To add to the "it's pretty much just a rumor" bit:

Bulbagarden, source of the first news reports of this glitch, actually did a follow-up post on this hours later in which they said, "Oops, we jumped the gun." You can read the full details here, but the main gist of it is that Bulbagarden decided to report on a story they hadn't verified, based on information concerning glitches that were reported before a hacker cracked the code. In actuality, even according to Bulbagarden's own pool of data, no one has encountered Bad Eggs through Wonder Trade (and they mention that they realize how fishy the report is because of the fact that they actually have no proof of anyone having trouble with WT).

Edit: Scratch the last part of the note. Theoretically, a game can glitch on its own through the magic that is accidental corrupted data (i.e., not hacking; just a computer doing its thing badly), but the thing is, there's still no real evidence that this can and does happen through WT. Reports that have been coming through to Bulbagarden as it is has either been the aforementioned old news that happened closer to launch or information that's vague as to whether it applies to Wonder Trading or traditional trading (i.e., by accepting trade requests).

Either way, right now, Nintendo has not released any official statement on the matter, and we have no concrete proof, unlike how quickly we were able to obtain actual information on the Lumiose City glitch. So ... yeah. It's extremely unlikely that it's true.
