Looks like it works a bit like Niantic's other project, Ingress (recommend 100% btw, PM me with your email for an invite!). Definitely looking forward to this. :3
...tho now I'm praying they never set up anything related to submissions bc I remember the clusterfuck that is portal submissions in Ingress, Lord mercy. X_x
interesting that it looks like they're marketing this towards an older demographic group - based only this video, at least. will be neat to see how it turns out!

I read the transcript of the press conference and wound up installing that Ingress game they mentioned there. (Unfortunately it's kindof broken because new users can't verify their accounts.) Since it's made by the same company, I guess, I'll see what this sort of game plays like? (Though I assume the Pokemon one will be easier to learn, since it's, y'know, Pokemon. XD;)
