According to Kotaku, a live-action Pokemon movie has been green-lit in Hollywood, although production won't begin until late next year.

I'm not sure why the need to make it a live action movie is even a thing, but I'm on the fence about it.

Bets are that Guillermo Del Toro will get to take the helm on this one.
